I’ve come far since I first came out of the box. Joey’s painstaking exploits in acquiring me, which involves racial discrimination, patriotic resurgence, twists of fate, tests of friendships and divine intervention, are legendary among her friends. A year later, I still am the same SD13 Tsukasa Konoe – Joey’s first Super Dollfie dream come true – yet people think of me differently. It is with deep fondness that I look back at my first day in my new home.

Watashi ha Nihon kara kimashita, Uno desu. Douzo yoroshiku onegai shimasu. Oh, sorry. Sometimes I forget my English. This is my first time out of Japan and out of the box.


The people here are different. They are a little less quiet and a lot bigger than the folks back home.

They keep saying my eyes look so alive. For perfect clarity and shine, I advice that you look away from the computer every 30 minutes. And use only Glass Eyes. I recommend Zokeimura Glass Eyes from Volks. They can be bought online at www.volks.co.jp or in any Volks Shop in Japan.

My Joey David is currently sold-out and is very hard to find. That makes her very special. I’m sure she will sell for a very high price at Yahoo Japan Auctions. I should be extra-careful not to break her.

Joey spent hours making these pyjamas (my first) so I’m obliged to wear them. Well, at least they are not pink with little hearts.

Joey was shipped to Japan last February. She went to the Volks Sapporo Shop, where some of my brothers and sisters are.

I should be in this picture, but I was left at home doing geeky stuff, like working on this photo journal.

I miss Japan. I must go back someday. But this is home, and it ain’t so bad.
