And then there was Mistula. The controversial virtual band that rocked Joey’s belief about J-rock and Pinoy rock and roll. Originally conceived as a side project for the artistically-frustrated Joey (who is an artist turned writer) and Rey (who is a musician turned writer), Mistula became a tool for a lot of artistes to express their repressed ideas and for some J-rock fangirls, a target for throwing rotten tomatoes.
