All rise.

It’s Easter, Uno, how long are you planning to stay up there?

Shut up and get me a can of Coke. I thirst.

See the newly risen Mistula for new artworks from the band’s most faithful followers; a display of past Mistula souvenirs modeled by BJDs from all over the world; new wallpapers of Manx Minuet and her guitar, Cebu, for download; and a short fiction written exclusively for Mistula by award-winning author Elvin Bueno. Past versions of the website can also be viewed and reviewed through a new section, Recollection.

Mistula: DEATH

Crossposted from Revelations.

This week celebrates the most important moments that shaped Christianity: the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ.

Referred to as the Holy Week, events commemorated within these seven days chronicle the last hours of Jesus on Earth: The Last Supper, His Death on the Cross on Good Friday, and finally, His Triumphant Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Witness this greatest drama played out at Mistula this Good Friday, at exactly 3 PM (Philippine time) as Lugosi, Uno, Manx and Dragan ponder the future of the band.

As it was written, so shall it be done.

Finding One’s Self

5 Things I Dread The Most
1. Kids
2. Mistula Updates (or anything that involves Lugosi)
3. Being alone in a doll carrier with Manx
4. Falling hair (aka Slipping Wigs)
5. Joey with a bottle of thinner

But Joey probably dreads face-ups more than I do. She held off my makeover for a record-breaking six months, and would rather Photoshop the tiny chip on my lip than paint over it. When it finally became too difficult to conceal by painstaking lighting or computer retouching, she psyched herself up and erased, with much tears and hesitation, all traces of Tsukasa Konoe.

It was a most dreadful experience.
