The Mistula Disciples: Sam

The Assumption: Joey is the only person behind Mistula.

She’d love to run away with all the credit, but Joey is only one of several people behind the band who make each update possible. Our entourage consists of musicians, writers, artists and the ever-present critiques who choose to stay backstage while we bask in the limelight. This series of posts is my tribute to some of the ever-faithful Mistula Disciples.

Dragan would not have been part of Mistula if not for Sam. Sam is among the first to know when the next Mistula update will be. She usually takes detailed instructions from Joey about Dragan’s costumes and photos. For Mistula: Resurrection, Joey’s instructions for Sam detailed the Ascension of Dragan.

After a few days, Joey realized she was being too demanding and quickly wrote Sam and Dragan an apologetic email with a new set of directions. Sam, who never once complained, complied.

And I suffered in Dragan’s stead.

NEXT: Manx and Lugosi are shot.

The final results of Joey and Sam’s collaboration can be seen on The Official Band Site of Mistula. Uno’s Mac Creative Gothic Silver eyes were from DoA’s Xiaomimi. His leather pants were made by Joey’s ever-reliable Aunt Lina.

Also , lovely pants! i like them alot. Did i mention i loved the whole mistula update? Well i did and still do.

T_T Judy didn’t bring me any cake back,…she fed it all to Veritas!

Ohhh, those are Mac-creative gothic eyes? Hmm. Scary. Jhoey better watch out cuz she might wake up one morning and find Uno wearing them and holding out his hands to strangle her!

Jhoann: Yeah, the first pair Sandi sent me got lost in the mail, and she was kind enough to send me a new pair! (Thanks, Sandi!) They are very nice gothy eyes. They reflect light in a thousand interesting ways!
