The Bachelor: Conclusion
Friends, thank you for watching The Bachelor, a most elaborate ploy to cheer a miser up. I am profoundly moved that many of you risked pretty necks and present relationships to make me feel better. I will never forget this. And to you, Lord Bader, master schemer, I am glad to have you on my side. May the force be with you.
SHIKAI: For attempting to rescue me from the pits of despair a second time, thank you. You are the most unlikely Prince Charming, and I am not that thrilled to be your damsel-in-distress. I know you try to talk tough and act abrasive like some famous webcomic character, but deep inside, you are all fluff. Right, Jiko?
VERITAS: I will talk to you in private.
01 JEANATHYN: I am very surprised to find you here. I did not realize you can write beautiful poetry, too. Thank you. Intelligent conversation is very hard to come by these days. I wish you could drop by someday so we can talk about music and poetry over a cup of good coffee.
02 AUGUST: I am sorry about your profile. I am flattered that you still sent an entry even when you are in a relationship with two attractive men. I hope they are not the jealous types. Let us make love, not war.
03 ZUZU: What a privilege to have you here. Size will never be a matter when you have features that make up for it, like enormity of chest – er, heart. Your hands are exceptionally sensual. I wish to hold them someday.
04 PATIENCE: Your concern, my pretty, is a pleasure and a surprise. I shall personally introduce myself to you if our travel plans push through. I am also looking forward to meeting your lovely sisters, and your equally lovely guardian. Thank you very much.
05 AIDEN: I don’t understand why you have to go through me to get to Manx. She really is quite easy. And I’d rather the lacy lingerie stays with her. (I don’t understand why women wear such itchy things.) And you really should stop breaking Kitori’s heart.
06 NICNEVEN: I am enchanted to find you here. I would never have thought an elf of noble status would fancy me, a lowly human, for a date. Thank you for bewitching me.
07 DIEGO: I have heard much about you from Dragan, D. You seem to be gravitating towards Veritas’ chosen path (of destruction), which worries me. Please tell Sam to send you over to us so I can look after you closely.
08 CHIARA: I believe this is the first time we’ve met? Thank you for taking the time to join. I hope to cross paths with you again and again in the future.
09 JENNY: I don’t know what I did to deserve your kindness and wisdom. I cannot thank you enough. I hope you never tire of me.
SARA: I’m glad to see you again! Manx says she will go out on a date with Trent anytime. Just tell her when.
And to everyone who sent me virtual hugs and gave Fully Articulated more than 15,000 hits, thank you for giving me a soul.
TSUKISOU: I decided not to make a choice until you send your entry. There is no need to rush. I will wait for you as long as I exist.

Thanks gods, Uno. I wasn’t expecting any less from you.
As a long-time lurker, I´ve been through this sort of “lot-of-fish-in-the-sea” thing with much uneasiness and sadness -couldn´t help it, no matter how well-intentioned it was. And today I’m finally leaving a comment because, well, 1) your decision, or rather lack of, speaks of a world of passions far more noble than that I´m (reluctantly) used to; and 2) because I dreamt of you last night. Now don’t laugh. I´m a poet and get really nervous and moody before performances, and I had one this morning. So in my dream you simply were about, as stylishly dressed as always, and perfectly calm, as if you were about to recite poetry with me, and gave me comfort. Your outer elegance is but a reflection of your inner dignity, and I woke up wishing I had your serenity and the kind of quiet awareness of one´s art´s value Mistula has.
I hope I made myself intelligible -I´m Spanish. Let me wish you all the joy you deserve in your life, even if it must come through painful paths. It´s been a real honour writing to you.

I doubt that I could/would ever tire of you, Uno. (Altho I must remember to thank Joey & JoAnn properly. Without either of those 2, I never would have had the pleasure of your virtual company.)
As I’ve said before, I wish you all the happiness a deep soul like yours deserves. (And it deserves far more than I could give you.) Thank you for your kind words & you’re more than welcome for mine.

I don’t think I’d know what to do with you anyway. I would still like to get to know you better, as a friend if nothing else.

Uno, you are stupidly stubborn and persistant. Though I can’t say I dislike you for this as it reminds me of a certain significant someone. It suits you better than angsting. That’s my domain.. Or was- I’m handing the title of King/Queen of Angst down to Veritas as 1. I’m quite done with it and B. Angst is a gift that young teens excel at better than any other semi-intelligence life form on the planet. I have every confidence it will be in good hands with her.

Veritas: Of course there are some intelligent teens- Need I remind you I was 15 when I caused massive system crashes all over the globe? But allow me to clarify that generalzation: While stupidity is a trait that knows no age limit, it tends to peak in the teen years. There are exceptions to every rule, of course, I’ve met some adults outmatching some teens by far in this area.
