Dragan’s Welcome Dinner Party
The welcome party for Dragan was held at Good Earth, a posh (and expensive, Bernadette complained) Chinese restaurant at The Fort in Makati. Here, Dragan, Ceras and Manx mingled with the local resinfolk Shuri and Verchiel, who came with their guardians Bernadette and Lilith.
Good Earth’s mood lighting made for an elegant ambience and very ghastly photos. The photographer apologizes for giving everybody an unsightly hepatitis skin tone.

I was not able to attend Dragan’s dinner party, as I was busy preparing for the Mistula shoot. Veritas was absent, too, because she said somebody needed to guard the house against a possible alien invasion. This prompted Dragan to make sure we felt miserable for not going by telling us what bloody fun they all had.

Shuri: Oi, don’t sleep when your mouth is full!
Dragan: Let him be. It’s bloody normal for people to fall asleep after a heavy meal.
Ceras: Shush, don’t wake him up! I’ll take his lobster dumplings!
Manx: The lobster dumplings are gone. Burp!
