Mistula in MangasZene!

NO TO INTERNET THEFT

Photography by Mike Fallarme of Lube Art

Missing Uno? This month, he appears in full color glory with the rest of Mistula in MangasZene #35, the most widely circulated Asian pop culture magazine in Germany.

Mike Fallarme, drag racer and top photographer of Lube Art, took Mistula to his favorite garage to shoot the gritty, glamourous photos featured in MangasZene.

The actual shots of the Mistula pages in MangasZene were sent to us by Claudia, who lives in Vienna and got hold of the magazine ahead of us. Thank you so much, dear Claudia!

Alas, we cannot read Deutsche. We trust Miss Steffi Holzer, editor-in-chief of Mangaszene, only had nice things to write about Mistula.

To Miss Steffi Holzer and the staff of MangasZene, vielen dank!

MangasZene is circulated in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For more information about ordering the magazine, please send an email to info@mangaszene.com or visit the MangasZene website (It’s in Deutsche.)

  1. It’s bee 7 hours and 38 minutes since I first saw the pics, and I’m still in awe. @__@

  2. Oh my god, Mistula. Please don’t get too famous or I’ll be too intimidated to comment here.

    I hope I can order Mangaszene online! *desperate*

    • We’re quite far from being too famous, Mathilde. Manx has still not gotten an offer to be on the cover of Maxim.

      I had to ask a friend from Germany to buy extra copies for us! I can’t read German myself! :(

  3. I wish I could get a copy… ;_;

    Lovely pictures! >w

  4. NOT AGAIN? look, stop making my band feel miserable! we are real! we do gigs! it’s not fair!

  5. If you can wait a little, I think I could translate the article to english for you after christmas :)
    *hugs*

    • Claudia, you are loved. *hugs* Thank you so very much. There’s absolutely no rush. Just do it whenever you can.

      … They didn’t say anything bad, did they? :???:

  6. Uno’s shot is almost Giger-ish, how fascinating. I hope Mistula would appear in Rolling Stone next so it’s easier for us Americans to find. Long live Mistula!

    • We’re still too “indie” and underground (undie?) for Rolling Stone, Ghost! And we want to stay in the shadows for a while. I don’t think the crew’s quite ready for the politics, if you get what I mean. ;)

  7. Whoo! Congrats guys :D The photos look fantastic!

    • Thank you, Hyae Na! Uno misses you, by the way. He’s hoping he’d wake up in Bali. :)

      • Aaw, bless. :) Missing him lots too, though I wouldn’t dare try sending him to Bali on his own @_@ The Indonesian postal service is fine when stuff is leaving the country, but when stuff is coming IN… well, if anything looks pricey, ehe, kiss it buh-bye XD;
        Merry Christmas ^^

  8. ooooh, I want it. ;__; but I’m sure my mom wont let me buy one.. oooh, I want it! I miss you Uno!!!

  9. ANG TINDI N’YO! In English, YOU ARE SMALL BUT TERRIBLE!

  10. Whoo~! Congratulations again!

    (Why is it lately all I’ve been spouting off are Congratulations?! @_@ Can’t I say anything more?! Ack. I’m turning speechless!!!!

    Okay, so not really. Mistula just had a lot of accomplishments these past months. Haha… Congrats again… ^^)

  11. I will be kicking myself for ages if I don’t find a way to get ahold of a copy of these to see the photos in their full, shiny glory. *__*

    Congrats on your Germanic invasion, Mistula! You’re looking fabulous!
