Hats off!
We were never a believer in ranking systems or popular opinion. For us, the greatest fulfillment is to receive approval from those we respect the most. That is why it is most inspiring to find Mistula or this strange blog being endorsed by these admired individuals:
Joey’s Devil Mother and erstwhile boss, Itsy.
Elvin Bueno, our favorite fiction writer.
Nina and Anton from Our Awesome Planet.
The Comiquero all the way from Mexico!
eL for putting us on Wikipedia, among other things. We love you, girl.
Niyx and the wonderful people who indulge us with beautiful artwork.

Drawn by Sin, one of Mistula’s favorite artists. She also did one for Lugosi.
This is long overdue, but we’d like to thank you for putting us on spotlight on your personal web spaces. We are deeply honoured.
Fashion Doll Quarterly and Mercy Neumark’s 9-page tribute to Mistula is now online. See how Lugosi can talk a little too much with the proper motivation.
I’d like to apologize to our frequent visitors for not updating as much recently. There should really be more than 24 hours in a day. We’ll try our best to make it up to you soon. Thank you!
One good reason to watch TV this Sunday.

Manikako will be featured on GMA 7′s Mel and Joey this Sunday at 8PM! Yesiree, some dolls are made for stardom.
Darak!

This is Derrick, ex-drummer of the underground metal kings Dahong Palay and self-proclaimed leader of Y&R’s Darak, one of the five bands to make it to the grand finals of the 1st Unitel Band Congress.
“Darak” is the Filipino word for rice bran, the common food of pigs. Joey named the band thus because Derrick is meaty. She also suggested that he get a tattoo on his belly of the word “MAYHAM” (Filipino for “with ham”, can also be mistaken for MAYHEM) but Derrick snorted at the idea.
