The Working Apparitions
Now why must Lugosi have a private secretary and a roadie at his beck and call when it’s so obvious I’m the one doing most of the work?
Wait, are Apparitions even supposed to work?
Sigh. It was no use complaining to Joey, because like everybody in the Manikako booth at the ToyCon, she was too busy working.
Lugosi was busy bossing everyone around him.
The only charity booth at the 6th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention did draw a lot of attention.
The Mistula Apparitions came to distribute the Manikako flyers.
And entertain the camera-happy, who were drawn to people wearing shiny outfits.
They were also quite drawn to Magpie.
I was quite happy to have Tin as my roadie (pretty girl on my left), but after a while, Joey reassigned her to assist Lugosi because he needed more help. WHAT THE –
How hard was it to distribute flyers? Besides, wasn’t Magpie already doing the job for him?
Fine, he did sign a photo for Kishi.
There. Happy, Kishi? And that’s all he did for the day.
Krishna (on my right) said most of her time with Lugosi was spent tumbling on his train. (Lugosi wore the Parting of the Red Sea, designed by Mae and Djinn of Tangled Web. As to why he chose to wear it to work, nobody knows.) Still, she was happy being a Mistula roadie.
Magpie seemed happy, too.
Then again, the whole Manikako crew was happy.
Great work, people! Next time, can we leave the slackers behind?
The next Manikako booth will be held at the library of The Daily Manila Shimbun, 2nd Floor, Montivar Building, 34 Jupiter corner Planet Street, Bel-Air Village, Makati City on July 11. The bazaar is open from 11AM to 3PM. See you there!

Wow! it’s like having a photobook of Mistula’s behind the scenes tour and we have some Magpie shots (and a rare smiling photo?) . Weeeee!!! ^^v
The last picture looks great for me. A smiling Manikako crew, a somehow amused/tired Apparitions (maybe due to the numerous “May I take a photo?” requests from unknown persons… errr like me ^^). Proof that the event was successful due to the dedication of each member involved.

Hmm… I was surprised and happy seeing Uno, my idol in bass guitar, in flesh in pictures. One thing I really wanted in Mistula is to see them in flesh and japanese outfit and in ACTION and I will wait for any occasion wherever they will be, but here in Metro Manila. (can’t travel farther than the region)
And for all of us guys who was excited seeing Manx, I guess she didn’t came with them because she… hmm… (suddenly remembered one of their interview) …forgot her underwear again??? *Just joking, just joking*
