It’s Showtime!

Mistula’s first TV appearance was not announced here because Joey and Yapi were afraid they’d look ridiculous – and Lovely Day isn’t even a comedy show. After six months and a few more TV appearances, they’ve finally accepted that it’s perfectly alright to make people laugh. And so here is Lovely Day’s feature on Mistula and ManikaManila:

You may’ve noticed that Joey and Yapi did not provide as much comic relief as Bernadette’s Shuri and Keran, who can now talk, thanks to GMA’s hysterical dubbing.

My Jason and the Argonauts-style movement is a close second.

If you can’t view the Quicktime video embedded in this entry, please go to the Mistulavisions Youtube Channel.

We’d like to thank Lovely Day’s tenacious researcher, Aileen Gutierrez, for providing us a DVD copy of this feature.

    • It took me six months before I finally relented to put this up, goshdarnit. I’ve always found it a tad embarrassing. Glad you liked it anyway, JJ.

  3. Now I know why Uno’s name is Uno!

  4. Now there’s something that’ll jerk me awake during my endless allnighters. XDXD

  5. Just noticed this wasn’t subtitled ;)

Bea: “Parang mukhang silang imported at may lahing anime!”
Love: “Oo Bea, dahil ang ball-jointed dolls ay unang ginawa ng isang Hapon.”

I guess this would cause mayhem ;)

  6. I still squee every time I see Uno on screen. X3
