Mistula’s Lovely Day Out (Part 1)

Posted by Uno

Huge photos demand patience.

Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon were not the first to talk about the Philippines’ first virtual band on national TV. Mistula’s TV debut was on Lovely Day, a GMA morning program hosted by the lively Love Anover and her cute trio of sidekicks. They featured Mistula alongside the local BJD community, ManikaManila, and the Philippine manga publisher, PSICOM, last March 3, 2007. (The video will be uploaded with English subtitles for our non-Filipino friends soon.)

Here are some scenes you might’ve not seen on TV.

Five lucky Black Rosary members from the Philippines, Norway and Germany will be first to wear these Mistula Covers.

Thanks for being a part of the flock!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not email us asking for free shirts. We are only giving five free shirts to those who joined Black Rosary before April 30, 2007, as stated in this newsletter.

If you want to be a member of Black Rosary, make sure you input a REAL EMAIL ADDRESS on your membership application. The system will automatically reject applications with fake emails. Thank you.

Special thanks to the Mistula roadies and Black Rosary members who continue to help eL and Magpie stop Internet theft by reporting ill use of copyright-protected Mistula photos on Friendster, Multiply and other free sites. You give us hope.

Return to the limelight.

We’re back from Singapore! And back, surprisingly, in a big way.

NO TO INTERNET THEFT

If you believe in Mistula, you will not steal this photo by Mike Fallarme.

1. Mistula is back on top of the Overplay Charts with 253 votes as of Thursday, 11:17PM, Philippine time. A record-breaking feat, as no musician on Overplay has gathered that many votes in so short a period. Last week also finished with Pista ng Patay skyrocketing to the top spot – and that’s while we’re all busy selling ragdolls for charity at MAAD Sunday.
