Rey took home some metal and made Mistula proud at the Philippine Advertising Congress, here with his art director-partner Gary Amante and their agency, the Agency of the Year, BBDO-GO! Congratulations, guys!

And it’s not right for me to say “To err is human”, isn’t it?
The Mistula exhibit has now been moved to Galeria 2 of the Faculty Center, College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Rey and Joey’s talk has also been moved to Tuesday, December 11, 3pm at the Claro M. Recto Hall in the Faculty Center.
Lugosi still refuses to do the Oblation Run. Sorry, girls. We tried.
Nevertheless, we hope to see you there! (Yes, that still includes you, Feliz.)
Mistula at U.P.
Sorry, girls, Lugosi won’t do the Oblation Run.
But Mistula will be at the University of the Philippines, Diliman tomorrow, Dec 8, where we have been invited to participate at the annual Writers Night.
This year, the event will last the whole day, starting with the PasKom Komiksibit in the morning, the Madrigal-Gonzalez Best First Book Award at 6pm, the Likhaan Jornal Launch at 7pm, then finally the Writers Night proper at 8pm, all at the Faculty Center, College of Arts and Letters.
Those who can find time to drop by, please visit the Mistula exhibit at the Galleria 1 and 2 (displays courtesy of Mistula disciples and art directors for life, Mike Fallarme and Eric Sanchez). Then head on over to Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan, also at the Faculty Center, at 3pm to hear roadies Rey and Joey give a talk about Mistula (because yes, I have stage fright. And yes, Joey will try her darndest to speak in her biggest, most authoritative voice for the U.P. Academe to take her seriously.)

I have been in front of the camera too many times. I have seen much, but not enough. I have basked in studio lights, the Bali sun, and the warmth of newfound friends. I have been to places where I never thought I could go. I have been heartbroken thrice. I have done what others believed I can’t do.
