Have a howlin’ birthday, Sam!

When I told Sam I wish Lobo had a real BJD gang back in London, she said, “Let’s get him a gang then!” I laughed and thought she was just joking. A few months later, Lobo’s gang arrived at my door. I should really learn when to laugh at British humour.

Sam and I had a howling time assembling the Lycantroops. She chose the dolls; I gave them their faces and personalities. Sam named them after wolves: Faolan (pronounced Phee-lan) is Irish for “little wolf”, Fenris is a giant wolf from Scandinavian mythology and Weylin is Celtic for “wolf’s son”. Lobo, the only Lycan I own, is also named after the Spanish/Filipino word for, you guessed it, “wolf”. Like Sam, they all speak with a British accent. I always consult her whenever I run out of bloody expressions.

War of the Wolves, the longest story Uno has ever told, is our gift to Sam, because without her, it will remain a fantasy.
Thank you, Sam! Here’s to more happiness and more dolls!
