Manikako Sunday, MAAD Sunday
Sunday was full of dolls – not only of the stuffed kind, but also of the ball-jointed variety. Lugosi and I met old friends – and made new ones along the way.
WHOA.
Make that double WHOA.
Singapore’s doll community has ballooned (pardon the pun) since Joey attended her first doll meet here a few years ago. While there were some familiar faces in the crowd, most of the people who came were new to us. Maybe Joey has encountered some of them in the net, but she was never very good at connecting real people to their online avatars. My human can be old-fashioned sometimes.
Joey knew Gwen well enough to boss her into making a Manikako.
While Gwen was busy with Manikako, Joey tried to steal her Sho.
But Kitty foiled her plans by stealing Lugosi.
This girl stole my heart, but I lost her name in the flurry of faces. She let out a tiny squeal when she saw me and knew all of us at Fully Articulated. Thank you so much for dropping by! And please leave your name here so I can keep it forever.
I think it’s always nice to make new friends, both humans and dolls. I’m not sure if the antisocial Lugosi felt the same way so I stepped on his train to keep him from escaping.

Joey believes one can never have Tsumanykasas. She kept dollnapping Sho throughout the day.
Over Joey’s shoulder, Gabie casually said, “If Uno’s going to become gay, I approve of this guy as his boyfriend.”
Er, but Sho could be my long-lost twin brother. And I’m sure he’s not gay. As for me:
