The Rabbit and The Wolf
It was the strangest, saddest date I’ve ever seen.
The new girl in town, Ichigo, is smitten by the Red Lobo. Mistula’s wild one, former leader of the vicious British street gang who calls themselves the Lycantroops. Him, of all people. He is so consumed by rage he leaves no room in his heart for any other emotion. He will not be touched by love; he has forgotten what it is.
She pleaded and pleaded with me for days, asking if she can please see the Red Lobo. After much thought, I finally relented. I bound Red Lobo in the toughest restraints I could find, and took him to see her in some fancy restaurant. Maybe I wanted her to realize how foolish she was – or maybe I was hoping for magic.
Ichigo told me she once was a rabbit, and that love for the wolf has turned her into a girl. It was a beautiful story, almost a fairy tale – but I’m too old to believe it. Ichigo believes it. She believes her fairy tale will have a happy ending.
Maybe I was the fool after all.
“Are you planning to sit here all night and play the dutiful chaperone?” Rose asked. We found him at the restaurant, looking for prospects. “We can go to the bar, you know, grab some drinks…”
“I don’t know how long those restraints will hold so I’ll stay here, thank you.”
“You think you can stop him if he escapes? I heard he put you in a coma the last time you tried.”
I drew a deep breath. “Then I will suffer greatly for my mistake.”
Maybe Ichigo is braver than I am. She has seen what the Red Lobo is capable of. Yet, she dares to touch him, at the risk of her own fragile life.
Run, little rabbit, run.
“I’m a magical girl,” she told me one night, during one of our long conversations on the phone. “I am not afraid. My love was strong enough to change a rabbit into a girl, and maybe it will change Red Lobo, too.”
Who will the moon shine for tonight, I wondered? The rabbit? Or the wolf? The girl borne out of love? Or the man born to hate?
I guess only time will tell.
Ichigo and Ulalume (the pretty little girl on the group photo) live with Krishna. Rose is owned by Nix. This story happened in Casa Xocolat, a long, long time ago.

That is a very interesting story. Thank you for sharing it. I know the feeling of having stories and photos and not posting them for whatever reason, so glad you did this one!
Also I don’t know whether it was seeing Uno or what, but I got my Tsukasa out tonight. They all have been in their boxes since moving. I guess it’s that darn handsomeness I missed. Thanks!

As for your message being cut, I think it has to do with the ‘greater than’ or ‘less than’ symbol on your emoticon. (I cannot type the exact symbols here as my message will be cut, too.) They cause divisions in CSS code, that’s why.
