Blind Date
They sat facing each other at the cafe one fine evening, two complete strangers. This was not their first meeting. They’ve met before, not a very long time ago. But so much had changed since then that they barely recognized each other.
The silence grew even more awkward as time passed. I watched them from across the room, and already I began to regret bringing them together like this. I’ve always thought they were right for each other – that they will make things right. Was I wrong?
“I’m… Lobo. Nice to meet you.”
“I know who you are. We’ve met before, don’t you remember?”
“I’m sorry. I have a very bad memory. You are..?”
“Ichigo. You should write it down so you don’t forget it again.”
Ichigo is in love with the Red Lobo, and he cannot be the same man sitting in front of her now. The Red Lobo she knows does not wither under her gaze, and does not speak as if he’s afraid to be heard. This is only half the man she knew.
And that is the truth.
“I will not forget your name again.”
If the drug called Full Moon had made Lobo stronger and smarter during his turbulent days as a gang leader in London, his rehabilitation had done the exact opposite. The treatment that was supposed to curb his thirst for violence had robbed him of his precious memories. As it exorcised his bloody past, it also took half his life, leaving him in permanent limbo: lost, without purpose.
“Cross your heart and hope to die, may lightning strike you if you’re telling a lie?”
“Cross my heart, hope to die and bugger that.”
I believe Ichigo can make Lobo whole again. Maybe she can mend his broken soul. Teach him to forgive, to love, to live.
“Did you bring any flowers for me? I like flowers. They are tasty.”
“You… eat flowers?”
“I used to be a rabbit. You’re a wolf, aren’t you?”
“Am I?”
“There’s a wolf inside you. I know it.”
“If I became a wolf, I might eat you.”
“That’s alright. Then I can be part of you.”
They sat facing each other at the cafe one beautiful evening, two old friends. And I knew in my heart that this was not going to be their last meeting.
Ichigo lives in Dormitorya Tzara with Krishna and Tin, Mistula roadies and giggly chaperones.

Word of advise: to bring the savage wolf out of Lobo, you will need either one of these two (not sure if there are more): Full Moon or Manx Minuet. In some strange way, I’d definitely pick Manx since it’s illegal to carry drugs around……and she’s smoking hot when she unleashes Red Lobo’s restraints. XDXDXD

It’s inevitable for Manx to make an appearance, especially when she holds the leash to the Red Lobo. Elder Jen knows us well enough to see into our future. As to how dramatic that entrance is going to be, we’ll just have to wait and see.
