Welcome to my not-so-private life online, Dear Voyeur. My name is Uno and this is my blog, Fully Articulated.
I am the frontman and bassist of the Philippines’ first virtual band, Mistula. I have been in the Philippines since 2003, which makes me the first of my kind to call this place home. Rock stars in this country don’t earn much, so I also have a day job in an advertising agency in Manila. I’m also a pajama model, occasional mascot, traveling companion and everybody’s best friend. I can make origami when nobody’s watching.
I’m currently considering a TV career. I’m also on Reference.com!

The rock band Mistula pioneered the genre called Rock Poetry (among other things) and has appeared on MTV, Myx and in various magazines around the world. The band has an official website and a Wikipedia article written by our virtual bouncer, eL.

Manx Minuet looks like a bimbo but she’s a guitar prodigy. A former pornstar, she has recently gained respect by being the lead guitarist and composer of Mistula. She single-handedly composed the song Nuestra Señora Dolorosa. She loves Metallica, Slash (her pet snake) and Gorky (her pet scorpion). She is available but not for sale.
Manx once bashed Lobo in the head and gave him an amnesia. Here are ten more things you should know about Manx.
Blanc Minuet is Manx’s twin sister. She is comatose and highly gifted with mysterious psychic abilities. While in coma, Blanc is able to manifest herself to people in other places through etheric projection. She usually appears to be “floating” and “spooky but kinda sexy”. Blanc occasionally whispers winning lottery numbers when everybody is sound asleep.
Manx and Blanc have another sibling, the macho dancer named Ceras. He lives with Yapi.
Veritas is the youngest member of the crew. Veritas believes that illegal acts are best committed at a young age because the law is kinder to minors – especially those who are cute and wear pigtails. She believes in aliens (especially the destructive ones with ugly faces) and big words like “global domination” and “weapons of mass destruction”. She hacks into other people’s blogs as a hobby.
Veritas also believes you can be anything you want if you are brave and bratty enough.
Veritas’ private army, the Viva Veritas Fully Armed Forces, is made up of small girls with big ambitions.
Lobo does not know he is Veritas’ older brother. He traveled all the way from the UK in search of his true self. He reads comic books of the DC anti-hero, Lobo, for clues. He owns an impressive collection of Lobo comics which he plans to sell for exorbitant prices someday, and frequents the DC forums for updates. Lobo has absolutely no sense of direction.

Anger and passion unleash Lobo’s true self, the beast Veritas calls Red Lobo. With eyes and hair turned blood-red, this Lobo is smarter, faster and stronger. In this form, he remembers his sister Veritas (albeit for very bad reasons) and can do things he normally cannot, like play the guitar. Red Lobo literally beat all the contestants up at the Mistula auditions, Rock Idol, and ended up becoming Mistula’s rhythm guitarist. Manx was able to transform Red Lobo back to his meeker self by singing a song.
Lobo is a member of the London street gang called Lycantroops. Veritas remembers their bloody history.
Lobo’s two selves have only one thing in common: they both speak with a British accent.
Bella Lugosi is Mistula’s drummer and self-proclaimed band leader. He writes most of Mistula’s poetry. He is called Lugosi because of his vampiric habits: he sleeps during the day and is only able to work at night. Lugosi is fascinated by old churches and Catholic idols. He loves pro-wrestling to death and is a huge fan of the Undertaker. He wants Mistula to become famous so he can hire the Undertaker as his bodyguard.
Lugosi was once the official boy toy of underground fetishists. Want to know his dirty secrets?
Salem Saint Magdalene is Lugosi’s stalker-turned-private secretary. She is mostly seen hovering around Lugosi, and thus earned the pet name, Magpie. There are speculations that Magpie used to be an Israeli Mossad operative and is responsible for 22 assassinations of high-ranking government officials in Palestine and Lebanon. While this may just be a fabrication, her skills in the Israeli martial art, Krav Maga, are tried and true.
Magpie’s dark past lies here.
Life will never be complete without friends. Here are some who have made our stories even more colorful:
Dragan is my first and remains to be my best friend. A former Mistula rhythm guitarist, he left the band to live a more private, quiet life with his family in the UK. He entrusted his custom Mistula guitar, British Embassy, to his successor, Lobo. He lives with Joey’s friend, Sam.

Tsukisou is an elusive dream and Seishurou, a nightmare. Our fates have always been entangled, and we affect each others’ lives with every chance encounter. Tsukisou and Seishurou live in Singapore with Djinn and Mae.
Shikai Hitasura is Veritas’ archnemesis. Their fight began when Shikai challenged Veritas to a hacking duel (known as The Hacker Crossover) and until now, no one wants to press quit. Shikai’s territory is in the US with Leigh.
Skye came to the Philippines to be my apprentice. He dreams of becoming an Uno someday. Skye’s real family is in the US with Mommy Amy.
Joey and Rey are Mistula roadies. They rarely show up on this blog because they prefer to be behind the curtain/camera/mixing board/computer/wheel. Joey and Rey live life out of the box with us in the Philippines.
The best way to learn more about the Fully Articulated crew is to read our stories. I organized them as neatly as I could under Chapters on the main page. Your thoughts always matter to us, so leave as much comments as you can!
