A Grand Summer Finale
This is a very late follow-up to this entry that got buried under the ever-mounting pile of urgent priorities. Such is life, or in my case, non-life.
After being imprisoned inside the Mistula Complex for more than two years, the chance finally came for me to socialize again. The first-ever ManikaManila End of Summer Sale was going to be held at nomnomnom happy food in Quezon City, and the first BJD on the ManikaManila Census had to be there.
Ahem, that’s me.
The End of Summer Sale was organized by the MMDA officers Joey, Nix, Krishna and Tin so ManikaManila members can buy or sell doll items at bargain prices. It was a cheaper and easier way to get accessories that used to be available only in online shops.

And those are real tats, mind you, unlike the stick-ons that came with the Totally Stylin’ Tattoos Barbie. If moms went livid over Barbie’s temporary tattoos then, I wonder what they have to say about her looking like Simone Legno’s yakuza vamps.
Sale! Sale!
The first-ever ManikaManila End of Summer Sale is happening tomorrow at nomnomnom happy food in Tomas Morato, Quezon City from 1PM to 4PM. There’s no way I’m going to miss this. As the first doll on the ManikaManila census and a historical action figure, I feel obliged to witness history in the making.
And hopefully earn some cash.
