Labor of Love

Posted by Uno

Picture this: the entire Fully Articulated crew gathered under a glittering Christmas tree, all dressed in white, happily exchanging Christmas gifts.

We were not able to shoot that photo. But we shot something much, much better.

It was one of those rare occasions when work did not feel like work. The film was inspired by doll photo stories, except this one took 24 hours to shoot. We almost spent Christmas in the studio.

Musamanila Spotlights Mistula

Posted by Uno

Musamanila is a collection of reasons to be proud of being Filipino. It is maintained by writer and tour guide, Knox Balbastro, who, like us, was raised in a different country but found true home in the Philippines. Mistula is honored to be a part of her list. Thank you, fellow patriot.

HERE, Knox interviews our drummer Lugosi and discovers another true Filipino who isn’t born in the Philippines.

Joey (not Joy) said she’s not in the best shape to appear on TV, and vehemently complained why we can’t answer our own interview questions. Whose idea was it to form a doll band, anyways?

Must be Rey’s.

This segment appeared on The Beat at QTV 11 last July 5, which was Rey and Joey’s wedding anniversary.
