My human visitors seem to be experiencing difficulty leaving comments on my blog. I realized this glitch occurs when people post at the same time, and have asked Joey to fix it – or she gets fired. I hope this does not discourage you from leaving comments, as I appreciate them very much! Please don’t give up on me!
Thank you very much and sorry about the bugs!

Friends, thank you for continuously clicking Pista ng Patay on Overplay. We’re currently several plays behind our closest rival, a signed band who stash votes by the thirtyfold everyday from 5 to 6 PM just to make sure they stay ahead. Today, their votes surged from 133 to 160 in a matter of minutes – right before our very eyes. Hey, that’s not right.
Lilith, who has been campaigning tirelessly for Mistula, is appalled. She used to chase after gaming hackers, and she can smell foulplay on Overplay from half a world away. She has plenty of codes up her sleeve but she hesitates: is it right for Mistula to cheat?
Wrong. Leave the cheating to humans.
While we may never reach the number 1 spot again (nor any other band on Overplay for that matter), we know our votes are real. Thank you, Lilith. Thank you, dear friends. You make us feel like real winners.
For more sad truths about the music industry, I leave you with Lobo’s idol, the father of real punk, Sex Pistol’s Johnny Rotten.

Last Monday, a panicked friend called Joey asking her if I had been stolen.
Fabo had been strolling in Alabang Town Center, one of the country’s popular malls, when he chanced upon a riotous gaggle of girls. The uproar was over one BJD seated quietly in their midst. He immediately looked for Joey, but she was nowhere to be seen. He then asked one of the bystanders what the fuss was all about and the person replied, “That’s Uno of Mistula.”
Last Monday, I was at home seated quietly in the midst of Joey’s photography odds and ends. Could it be possible that I fell asleep and sleepwalked to Alabang Town Center, which is around 50 kilometers away? Or is there another Uno out there being fawned over by nubile girls while I am made to endure uncomfortable poses in front of Joey’s camera? Damn that second-rate Uno. I will erase his face when I see him.
I made a true cameo in the second issue of Y&R’s inaction-packed comic, O.T.X., but I’m hardly recognizable. That’s me on the top right panel – stop straining your eyes.

Meanwhile, on Rakista.com, a man is claiming he has chatted with Manx Minuet.
And I thought our lives can’t get any stranger.
If you have a lot of time to spare, the maiden issue of O.T.X. is RIGHT HERE.

1. Glitchy Internet Connectivity (courtesy of PLDT)
You may have noticed that the Mistula sites (Mistula, Revelations and Fully Articulated) will at times not load. This is not your computer’s fault. Blame it all on PLDT, the Philippine Internet backbone, which is causing the Internet to hiccup in this part of the world. Even Joey has repeatedly been banned from our own servers, much to her frustration. Our tech person, Bob Reyes, who has been patiently putting up with Joey’s constant ranting, is doing everything he can to fix the problem and stop Joey from ranting further. Here is Bob’s temporary fix.
2. Comments in SMSlang
All comments in SMSlang, a Filipino form of gobbledygook made up of consonants and numbers for use on mobile phones and jolog tagboards, will now be screened. SMSlang is undecipherable to our non-Filipino friends and gives Joey migraine. Always remember: Good grammar promotes good health.
3. Internet Thieves and Piracy
We noticed that many of the Friendster sites we previously posted here and here persist to ignore our noble El’s messages and use our photos without linking back. Are these people waiting for me to put on a bloody face-up, wield a knife and murder them in their sleep? Also, Oracle and his friends have reported seeing pirated Mistula CDs in places like Novamall. Please do not pay for something you can download for free. If you insist on wasting your money, we will gladly accept cash or Paypal payment. Heh.
4. Questions like: “Where can I buy Mistula’s album?”
Mistula does not have an album out yet. All you need to know about Mistula is right here. Our site may not be idiot-proof, but the brain needs exercise, too. The band is set to release new, original material this year, and trust that it won’t come in a cheap pirated CD because if there’s one thing I can say about our kind: We don’t come cheap.
5. “Do you sell dolls?”
Manx may look like a prostitute, but she is not for sale. Thank you and goodbye.

How can we go on with our lives if everytime I post a picture here I am afraid someone will steal or vandalize it? eL and her fellow vigilantes are reporting new Friendster links everyday, all of them owned by Filipinos. What does that tell us?
More sites with unauthorized photos reported by eL, Mistula’s virtual bouncer:

Yet another Friendster thief reported by May:

Somehow we feel responsible for all the pictures stolen from the sites linked to us, like Tangled Web, Illness Illusion and Kiriko’s Lantern Lost. We promise to do everything we can for these photos to be properly credited or taken down. And we apologize for our fellow Filipinos; I am disheartened to discover that most of us are not responsible and considerate Internet users.
I wish my next post will not contain more illegal Friendster links. I am sure these offensive sites sadden our friends, who want to see more of us in happier situations. PLEASE STOP STEALING NOW. Or I will be convinced that I was wrong in sharing ourselves with you.
Again, a reminder to all those who have taken our photos without our authorization:
TO LINK OUR PHOTOS BACK TO MISTULA OR FULLY ARTICULATED FROM YOUR FRIENDSTER OR PERSONAL WEBSITE, please copy and paste this HTML code on the page where the pictures are posted.
